Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the British government's Ministry of Information in 1939 during the beginning of World War II, intended to strengthen morale in the event of invasion. Two-and-a-half million copies were printed, although very few were distributed. It consists of a crown at the top and the text Keep Calm and Carry On in block capitals.
