Colorful Africa - The Gold Coast Collection

This cute design features a brown elephant standing in front of a palm tree between green mountains. It is the vintage motif that appeared alongside the British Union Jack on the flag of the Gold Coast British Ghana, 1877-1957, prior to UK independence in 1957. The same design featured on the flags of the former British Colonies of Gambia, Lagos, Sierra Leone and the West Africa Settlements.

Apart from the historical significance of the design it is a cute design in its own right to adorn a range of gifts for yourself or a loved one.
