This cute design features a brown elephant standing in front of a palm tree between green mountains at sunset or sunrise, with the sun on the horizon. It is the vintage motif that appeared alongside the British Union Jack on the flag of the Gold Coast British Ghana, 1877-1957, prior to UK independence in 1957. The same design featured on the flags of the former British Colonies of Gambia, Lagos, Sierra Leone and the West Africa Settlements.
