Royal Wedding Prince William and Kate Royal Dragon Paperweight Sculpture

HRH Prince William Kate Middleton Wedding Sculpture Souvenir

A souvenir to commemorate the Royal Wedding between HRH Prince William of Wales and Catherine (Kate) Middleton on April 29th 2011, at Westminster Abbey, London, England

The design features a variation of the Welsh Dragon, the Red Dragon Y Ddraig Goch that appears on the flag of Wales. The Royal Wedding Dragon here is more friendly than the original dragon; the spiked tongue does not protude from the dragon's mouth and the spiked tail is tucked underneath the body. The Dragon is orange with golden lines accentuating its body and wings conveying a more regal royal look.

The Dragon is surrounded by daffodils, the traditional flower of Wales, and red roses, the traditional flower of England. The pairing of a daffodil and a rose signifies the relationship between William, Prince of Wales and his wife to be, an English Rose.

The text at the base reads "HRH Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton 29th April 2011".

Made of durable acrylic and provided with a black stand, the white (transparent) area surrounding the dragon and its base of flowers and text will be cut away to create a sculpture for your desktop, display case or mantelpiece. The final size will be approximately 5" x 7" (12.7 cm x 17.8 cm) though a smaller and larger versions can be ordered (Use the Customize it button below the product image above to choose size).
